Mountain Horse Breeding Stock

We have a small number of mares that serve as our riding stock and as our breeding stock. We ride our mares up until they deliver their foals then begin riding them again once the foals are about 2 months old. This keeps the mares in good riding condition and allows the foals great learning opportunities.

Barbara Blue

Barbara is a sweat tempered mare that has produced the same people loving temperament in her offspring. She is currently in foal to Blue for a 2006 foal.

Mace is a great ride and comes from great bloodlines. Her sire is the 2001 International Under Saddle 5 Year old Stallion Champion. She is currently in foal to Blue for a 2006 foal.

Maureen has been a great trail horse and a great brood mare. Her foals are consistently top quality horses that exhibit the Rocky Mountain horse traits that we love. She is currently in foal to Blue for 2006.
